Meth Seminar March 19-20, 2008

The Lost Cherokee Nation of Arkansas and Missouri and the Cherokees on the Arkansas River, Inc. are presenting a seminar on Methamphetamine in Indian Country March 19-20, 2008, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  This seminar, co-sponsored by Counseling Associates, Inc., is designed to provide participants information about methamphetamine (meth), meth labs, meth users, how meth affects our communities, and treatment for users.  The seminar will also take a similar look into the abuse of prescription drugs.

This seminar is designed for community leaders, social workers, school administrators, law enforcement, health care providers, counselors, and clergy.  It provides participants 16 contact hours of continuing education that are approved for Nationally Certified Counselors and for Arkansas Law Enforcement Standards.
