The Tribe (i.e., Lost Cherokee of Arkansas and Missouri) is - and remains - the only petitioner #204 in Washington.  The corporation in Conway would like for everyone to think they are the tribe.  However, they are not the tribe and they have no standing with the Office of Federal Acknowledgment.  The corporation's Conway address is not recognized by the Office of Federal Acknowledgment and never will be!

The Tribe, Lost Cherokee of Arkansas and Missouri, Petitioner #204,  has completely disassociated itself from  this corporation in every way possible, including all of its directors.  If you have any questions, please call our office.

It is very sad that when some people receive mail from the corporation in Conway, they mistakenly think it is from the Tribal Office at Dover.  Check your mail!  If it is from Conway, disregard any and all correspondence.

Your tribal council has not forgotten its promise to fight for the return of all of your files that were stolen by the Conway group.
